The UAW – Ford Rouge Powerhouse Memorial Scholarship Fund is managed and administered by Scholarship Management Services. The goal of this endowment fund established by Ford Motor Company is to offer a competitive scholarship program to assist UAW – Ford active employees' children planning to continue their education in college.

As you may be aware, the market fluctuations and economic downturn has resulted in great losses in many investment plans. Likewise, the endowment for the Rouge Powerhouse Memorial Scholarship Fund investment has not performed to our expectations.

Because of this economic downturn we regret to inform you that we will not be able to offer the scholarship for the 2009 school year.

It is our sincere hope that in future years we will be able to reinstate this valuable scholarship.
