Since 1989, Kaiser Permanente has assisted California students in completing their nursing education through its RN Scholarship Program. In 2001, the Excellence in Bachelor’s Degree Nursing category was created in honor of Deloras Jones, RN, MS, for her 34 years of leadership and dedication to education and nursing practice at Kaiser Permanente. Two types of scholarships are available, merit awards and need-based awards.
